Policies
Mostly Dahlias is a family farm. We take great care to bring you the best quality dahlias at affordable prices. All our tubers are grown on our farm.
Growing Information
· Our dahlia patch is monitored daily and we promptly cull any plant showing signs of virus or disease.
· We sterilize all our tools between each plant while cutting flowers and dividing tubers.
· We take labeling and identification seriously.
· Each tuber will have at least one eye when shipped or picked up.
Shipping Information
· We ship our tubers to your door via USPS Priority Mail.
· $14 flat rate shipping for any amount of tubers.
· Combine shipping for multiple orders will not be offered for the 2026 season.
· 2026 season orders will be shipped, beginning immediately, starting with more southern states.
· Your tracking number will be sent to you in an email.
· Check your mail and bring tubers inside as soon as they are delivered, especially in freezing weather.
Local Pickup
· If you are local, you can save shipping by choosing “Local Pickup.”
· Local pickup will take place at 2C Farmstore at 218 N Pomeroy Ave, Hill City, KS.
· We usually have pick up orders ready within 24 hours.
· If you cannot pickup in person and choose local pickup, we will charge an extra fee of $25 plus the cost of shipping, to ship to you.
Order Changes and Cancellations
· Once your order is placed with us, we will not be able to change or refund your order.
· If a variety becomes unavailable due to storage loss, we will send notification immediately and issue a refund.
· We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason.
Replacements
· Dahlia tubers are live plants and require your attention. Please inspect your tubers immediately upon arrival.
· Store your tubers in a cool location in a medium that keeps them from drying out.
· If there is a problem with your order, let us know within 3 days of receipt. We may offer an immediate replacement if one is available or a replacement for the following season. However, photos will be required for any tuber concerns.
Other Information
· Size doesn’t matter! Small, medium and large tubers will grow and produce large plants with multiple flowers.
· We occasionally cut the tuber to check for rot or removal of feeder tubers and roots. These tubers will be cured and will produce just as well as any other.
· We have purchased tubers from multiple small farms. We aim to send what we, ourselves, would love to receive!
